Telehealth Programs

Telehealth, also referred to as Virtual Care or Virtual Health, is a set of electronic tools designed to improve access to health care services, and in turn, reduce health care costs. For Mass General Brigham, Telehealth is a key strategy for delivering engaging and patient-centered care across our system of hospitals and practices.

Virtual health technologies typically leverage HIPAA-compliant communication technologies to enable digital transmission of health information to facilitate diagnosis, consultation, treatment, education, care management and self-management of our patients. Across Mass General Brigham, providers offer a broad range of telehealth options to patients with needs ranging from psychiatric evaluation to post-operative spine surgery follow-up visits.
